The province is giving over a million dollars to Argyle for water infrastructure.

MLA Colton LeBlanc announced the funding for water supply improvements for emergency fire services and commercial use in East Pubnico.

The funding will also expand the sewer treatment plant in Tusket by 50 percent.

Warden Danny Muise says they’re excited to partner with the province on these projects.

LeBlanc adds the region faces unique challenges and this investment will make a difference for the growth and safety of the area.

Work will begin later this spring.
