A 52-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing on Montague Gold Mines Road.
RCMP say it they received a report of a disturbance at a home Saturday just after 12:30 a.m.
Responding officers found a man with a severely injured hand and learned another man had run away.
Paramedics transported the victim to hospital.
Soon after, police located and arrested the suspect at a nearby home.
He remains in custody and will appear in court Monday.
[2:55 p.m.] RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment officers have quickly and safely taken a man into custody. There is no risk to the public. Officers will soon clear Montague Rd.
