If you own an air fryer, check to see if it’s affected by a recall.

The brand is Insignia and it includes digital and analog air fryers and digital air fryer ovens ranging between 3.4 and 10 quarts, with plastic or plastic and stainless-steel bodies.

As of February, there have been six reports of melted handles and one report of broken glass in Canada.

There is also the risk of the unit overheating and causing a fire.

Over 99,000 units have been sold in Canada from September 2021 to November 2023.
