Two Yarmouth County bridges have re-opened.
The barriers have been removed at the Frotten Road bridge in Quinan and the Duck Lake bridge in Belleville, after high water levels made conditions unsafe.
Shane Strong with Yarmouth’s regional emergency management office says a bridge inspector visited the area.
“To look under the bridges and make sure everything was connected. Both passed inspection, and then the concrete barricades were removed,” said Strong.
The bridge in Quinan had been closed since March 8th, while the Belleville bridge shut down last Wednesday.
Strong says public works had to wait for water levels to recede to complete the inspection.
