Peace officers raid Moncton dispensary

A woman is facing charges after Justice and Public Safety officers raided an illegal Moncton dispensary.

Peace officers from the department searched the Hydrostop on Baig Boulevard on March 8.

Department officials said they seized contraband cannabis and other illegal products, including:

  • 2.4 kilograms of dried cannabis
  • 52.6 grams of hashish
  • 206 cannabis edibles
  • 50 packs of cannabis resin/shatter
  • 39 THC/CBD bath salts and soaps
  • 37 cannabis vapes
  • 13 THC/CBD oils
  • three packs of cannabis seeds
  • 131 cannabis joints
  • four packs of contraband cigarettes
  • one ATM
  • $1,119 in cash

A 41-year-old Moncton woman was arrested and faces one charge under the federal Cannabis Act.

She has since been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date, according to the department.
