Three municipal leaders in Yarmouth will get together on the same stage.

The Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ‘State of the Region’ event on Tuesday at the Rodd Grand Hotel.

Mayor Pam Mood, Yarmouth warden John Cunningham and Argyle warden Danny Muise will be in attendance for the panel discussion.

Chamber executive director Rick Allwright says they’ll be talking about issues that matter to this area.

“Housing, tourism, our critical infrastructure like the airport and wharves, and how we’ll deal with climate adaptation when it comes to EV’s,” said Allwright.

Allwright says it’s important for elected officials to hear feedback from the community.

“Without our elected officials hearing feedback, they won’t know what’s working or what’s not working, and they need that feedback for making decisions.”
