American singer-songwriter Eric Carmen has died.
According to his website, the former lead vocalist of the Raspberries and solo artist passed away in his sleep on the weekend at age 74.
No cause was given.
Since the 1970s, Carmen had 13 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100.
He was best known for All by Myself in 1975, which Canadian Celine Dion later took to the top of the charts, and Hungry Eyes from the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing.
