Music lovers are excited about Weekends at the Opera House beginning March 22nd on the South Shore.
The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society says the first show with Grammy winner Allison Russell with special guest Aysanabee is already sold out!
After performing in Lunenburg, Russell will also open the Junos in Halifax.
However, many award-winning performers such as J.P. Cormier and Dave Gunning are also scheduled throughout the spring concert series.
Society President, Louis Robitaille says, “Folk Harbour is proud of its long history of bringing the best in Atlantic Canada and the world to your doorstep and this lineup is no exception.”
The entire concert series is as follows:

April 6: Small of My Heart Songwriters’ Circle with Catherine MacLellan, Erin Costelo, Lisa MacIsaac, and Kristen Martell
April 19: Quote the Raven
April 20: The Once
May 10: Dave Gunning with special guest Jud Gunning
May 11: Kellie Loder with special guest Irish Mythen
May 24: Gina Burgess
May 25: Carleton Stone
