Shelburne girls win basketball provincials

A provincial banner for the Shelburne senior girls high school basketball team.

The Rebels defeated Springhill 84-56 to win the Division 3 title.

The tournament was held in Halifax.

It’s the first provincial banner for Shelburne since 2011.

The Lockeport high boys basketball team took silver at their provincial championship in Hants North.
