The Nova Scotia Serious Incident Response Team will investigate following the death of a man under arrest in West Hants

On March 2nd, RCMP responded to a 911 call of an unknown emergency at a home in Bramber.

They arrested a man for obstructing a peace officer and he went into medical distress.

Officers called for EHS and provided first aid.

EHS pronounced him dead at the scene.

RCMP have referred the matter to the SiRT which investigates all serious incidents that arise from police actions.
