A major announcement is expected on a high-speed ferry from Bedford to Halifax.
The ferry would be based out of Mill Cove and take 20 minutes to arrive downtown.
A $3 million dollar study has been in the works since 2021.
The ferry would ease some traffic congestion on the Bedford Highway when up and running.
Federal, provincial and municipal officials are planning to get together on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bedford Yacht Club.
