Mild conditions continued last month

Snowier and rainier than usual, but milder.

That sums up the weather for the month of February in Kenora.

We had 34.6 millimeters of precipitation, which was a mix of rain and snow (16.2 millimeters for rain and 34.8 in snow).

February is traditionally the driest month of the year in Kenora.

Despite a few cold days this week, the daily mean temperature was -7.5 Celsius.

That 5.4 degrees warmer than usual.

The daily mean temperature for February is -12.9.
