It was September 11 when RCMP say, the suspect and a woman met at a restaurant in the Forest Hills Parkway, after talking on Facebook Dating.
The man then later drove the woman to a location in Lawrencetown, where he sexually assaulted her.
Police believe there may be other victims in HRM and ask anyone with information to contact them.
The 46-year-old suspect has been released on conditions and will appear in court in April.
