Highway 17 near Two Mile Corner north of Dryden has been re-opened.

A multi-vehicle collision occurred just before noon bringing traffic to a halt.

In a post to social media the Oxdrift Fire Team says five tractor-trailer units and one passenger vehicle were involved.

Officials say two people were hurt but their injuries are not considered serious.

Fire crews from both Oxdrift and the Dryden Fire Service have cleared the scene and turned it over to Ontario Provincial Police and the MTO.

Since the collision, the highway between Dryden and Vermilion Bay has been closed and re-opened due to weather conditions.
