A number of arrests have been made after fights at Halifax West High School.

It started over the lunch break, but it’s not known how many students were involved or how many have been arrested.

Police stayed at the school for most of the day to make sure things remained calm.

The investigation is in the early stages and additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
