OPP seeking assistance in identifying robbery suspect

Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying an individual linked to a break-and-enter in Fort Frances.

On Monday, the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break-and-enter at a residence in the 200 block of Fifth Street East in Fort Frances.

It was determined that an unknown male entered the residence through a basement window sometime between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., took multiple small items and left on foot. No injuries have been reported.

Police were able to view surveillance footage at the residence. The suspect is described as a male, wearing a black face covering, black jacket with black gloves.

The OPP is actively conducting an ongoing investigation and is asking the public for assistance.
