A 43-year old man is dead after a crash in Meteghan.
It happened just after midnight as a vehicle left the road on Highway 1 and ended up in the ditch.
The man from Meteghan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed between Meteghan and Salmon River.
It re-opened around 10 a.m.
