The Ontario Provincial Police has arrested and charged one Northwest Angle 33 First Nation resident with impaired operation following a collision.

On Tuesday evening, members of the OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision at a business on Park Street in Kenora. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of one of the motor vehicles had been impaired by drugs leading to their subsequent arrest.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on March 14.
