A global technology firm is expanding and adding more new jobs in New Brunswick.

Kyndryl plans to add more than 40 remote and on-site positions throughout the province.

The company will hire a mix of new graduates and professionals with a range of experience.

Some of those new employees will work with McCain Foods, which has a long-standing partnership with Kyndryl.

“We are leveraging the growing and diverse tech labour force in New Brunswick and its hotbed of cybersecurity talent to help organizations modernize, transform and grow,” Farhaz Thobani, president of Kyndryl Canada, said in a news release.

“We are proud to contribute to the province becoming a world-renowned information technology hub, while advancing a dynamic and inclusive digital future in the region.”

Kyndryl will receive up to $350,000 in payroll rebates from Opportunities NB to fill the new positions, which are already being hired for.

The company offers hybrid cloud solutions, as well as security, resiliency, data and artificial intelligence services to help organizations optimize their information technology workloads and transformations.
