It’s not Paris or Rome, but the Nuclear Waste Management Organization is sending some residents of Ignace on a junket.

This time it will be to a uranium mine in northern Saskatchewan.

In addition to members of the town council and municipal staff, residents interested in going are asked to apply.

The trip to Cameco’s underground uranium mine will take place in early March and anyone interested in going is asked to submit a letter of interest by Wednesday, February 7th.
