A Kaministiquia man is facing a number of charges related to impaired driving following a collision northwest of Lappe.

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to a two-vehicle collision on One Island Lake Road in Fowler Township just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Thankfully, the collision resulted in no injuries.

An investigation revealed the 47 year old driver of one of the vehicles had been impaired by alcohol and taken into custody for further testing.

He faces the charges of:

·        Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs

·        Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

·        Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with liquor Readily Available

The accused has been released from custody and will appear in court next month.
