The Yarmouth Mariners fell 5-3 to the Truro Bearcats on the road.

The game picked up from the second period Wednesday night, with the Bearcats leading 2-0.

Ice issues in Truro earlier in January postponed the remainder of the game.

The Mariners will look to put the loss behind them as they visit the Pictou County Crushers Thursday.

Yarmouth sits four points back of the Crushers and Amherst for a playoff spot.
