By Tara Clow Jan 31, 2024 | 10:00 AM

More information is still needed after a downtown Fredericton synagogue was vandalized.

Fredericton police hope the public will come forward with tips that will help them find those responsible.

They continue to investigate whether the damage resulted from targeted hostility or other circumstances, but more information is needed.

Police received reports on January 27 that the front windows of the Sgoolai Israel Synagogue were smashed out.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Fredericton Police Force at 506-460-2300, by emailĀ intelligence@fredericton.ca or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and reference file #24-2066.
