A pair of prognosticators will be out for Groundhog Day.

Shubenacadie Sam and Lucy the Lobster will make their predictions Friday morning.

Natural Resources and Renewables Minister Tory Rushton says he’s always hopeful Sam will predict an early spring, but he’s looking forward to the event.

Remember, it’s six more weeks of winter if they see their shadow.

Sam will be at the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park, while Lucy will make her prediction in Barrington.
