Two people have been arrested after an armed robbery at an east Saint John convenience store.

Armed with a weapon, he allegedly demanded money before fleeing the store with some cash.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested for robbery on Jan. 18. She was later released on an undertaking to appear in court on April 8.

A 41-year-old man was arrested five days later and held in custody. He appeared in court on Thursday charged with robbery and disguise with intent.

The man was released from custody and is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 22.

Police continue their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
