During an ‘unprecedented level of danger’ Doomsday Clock stays at 90 seconds to midnight

Humanity continues to face an ‘unprecedented level of danger’ according to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

That’s why they have kept the metaphorical ‘Doomsday Clock’ at 90 seconds to midnight, which represents a global catastrophe.

Time ticked closer to midnight in 2023 from 100 seconds, largely due to the war between Russia and Ukraine in 2022.

To ease it, members say, nation leaders need to work together to combat things like nuclear threat, climate change and AI.
