There has been a minor earthquake in northwestern Ontario.
Earthquake Canada says the tremor struck Monday at 5:08 a.m. Eastern time in a remote area just west of Upsala.
It had a magnitude of 1.9.
Such seismic activity in the region is not unusual.
Earthquake Canada says there have been six similar quakes in the last two months in areas to the west of Thunder Bay.
