A fatal house fire in Digby County is being investigated.

RCMP say it was just before 5am January 18, in Plympton Station on Old North Range Rd.

When officers arrived at the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Once the fire was out, they found remains of an adult inside the home.

At this time investigators do not believe the fire was set on purpose.
