New banners will honour more veterans in the Yarmouth area.

The town is set to create 50 banners through their memorial program for 2024.

You can visit Town Hall before the end of the month if you’re interested.

Mayor Pam Mood says it’s a great way to honour those who served.

“The banners will stay up for 3 years, that’s how we do the program. Then they’re taken down and given back to family members. It’s been such an amazing program, people want to honour their family members in this important way,” said Mayor Mood.

The banners will be placed on Main Street.
