The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has announced its community vaccine clinic is closing for the season.

The clinic’s last day is January 17 and it will be open for its final day from 11:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The clinic is still accepting walk-ins but appointments are prioritized for COVID-19 vaccines.

Routine vaccines for high school students who are missing vaccines required by the Immunization of School Pupils Act will also be available tomorrow while the clinic is open.

Going forward COVID-19 vaccines will remain widely available at pharmacies and a limited number of vaccines will also be available by appointment at the health unit’s Main Office.
