A 28-year-old Nova Scotia man was rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing at a motel in Pictou.

RCMP say responding officers found the victim at an inn on West River Road with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday around 5:30 p.m.

Police say two men and a woman were observed entering the motel room, then one of the men was seen leaving.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted and that the man who left is responsible for the stabbing.

If you have information on this incident or can identify the three people, contact the Pictou County District RCMP at 902-485-4333.
