Vehicles, homes shot with BB gun in Saint John: police

Saint John police are investigating several incidents of property and vehicle damage in the north end of the city.

The incidents took place between Saturday evening and Monday morning, police said in a news release.

“It is believed that the incidents are related and caused by a BB gun,” said the release.

  • Jan. 6-7, 11:42 a.m. – 1st block of Brunswick Place – damage to house/window
  • Jan. 7, 5:31 p.m. – 10 block of Newman Street – damage to windshield – Mitsubishi RVR
  • Jan. 7, 5:47 p.m. – 160 block of Victoria Street – damage to house/window (believed the shots were fired from the direction of Lorne School)
  • Jan. 7, 6 p.m. to 6:32 p.m. – 30 block of Douglas Street – damage to windows – Toyota Corolla and Dodge Caravan
  • Jan. 7, 9:03 p.m. – 100 block of Pugsley Avenue – damage to house/window
  • Jan. 7, 7 p.m. to Jan. 8, 7 a.m. – 50 block of Newman Street – damage to windows – Toyota Corolla

Investigators are seeking witnesses or anyone in the area who has dashcam footage or video surveillance of the incidents or those responsible.
