Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a collision which claimed the life of a Dryden man Tuesday night.

Police, fire and EMS responded to an area of Arthur Street just before 10:00 p.m., to a report of a single motor vehicle collision,  where they discovered the 56 year old driver in critical condition.

He was rushed to hospital, where sadly he passed away.

Arthur Street was initially closed for several hours as members of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and Technical Collision Investigators conducted their initial investigation.

The roadway has since been reopened.
