NOSM University has announced that applications for the 2024 Summer Studentship Program will open on February 1–15, 2024.

The program was established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and provides university students studying in a regulated healthcare profession program with an opportunity to gain work experience.

Students from the following eligible healthcare professions are invited to apply: medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, pharmacy, dietetics, medical laboratory and radiation technologists, midwifery, kinesiology, pharmacists, speech-language pathology, audiology, respiratory therapy, occupational physiotherapy

Before applying, students are encouraged to review the program FAQs to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements. The university may request additional information from applicants after the application period closes. Successful applicants will be matched to healthcare agencies.

The selection of candidates, job duties, rate of pay, and duration of the employment contract are determined by the employing agency.
