A 48-year-old Inverness man is dead after a snowmobile crash in Margaree Valley.
RCMP say a snowmobile struck a tree around 10 a.m. Friday on a marked trail near Fielding Road.
The driver was transported to the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries then transferred to St Martha’s Regional Hospital where he later died.
Police are investigating.
