Sports Hall of Fame seeks nominations

By Regis Phillips Jan 5, 2024 | 3:54 PM

The Greater Saint John Sports Hall of Fame committee is now accepting nominations for the 2024 induction.

Created in 1987, the Hall of Fame represents decades of athletes, teams, and builders who have left their mark in Greater Saint John.

Nomination categories recognize athletes, teams, officials, coaches and administrators.

Inductees are selected through the committee’s evaluation process and nominators are encouraged to resubmit past nominations for consideration.

Six inductees were part of the most recent class in 2022. They were supposed to be inducted in 2021 but the ceremony was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
