Snow squall watch for western Cape Breton

By Caitlin Snow Jan 5, 2024 | 4:41 PM

A snow squall watch is in effect for late this evening and tomorrow morning in western Cape Breton.

Environment Canada says 10 to 15 cm could fall.

Winds could gust 60 to 70 km/h causing reduced visibility.

The forecaster says weather conditions could change rapidly with a snow squall, going from clear skies to bands of intense snow within just a few kilometers.
