Deadline for Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

By Tim Davidson Jan 4, 2024 | 11:13 AM

Time is running out to get your nominations in for the Kenora District Chamber of Commerce’s business awards.

Friday is the last day to nominate a business or person in one of the six categories.

Chamber president Andy Scribilo say they already have over 100 nominations in.

“Write as much in there as you want about the business,” says Scribilo.

“It’s your time to make the business shine…where you’ve gotten good service or you think they’ve done a good job.”

Scribilo adds that it’s been a difficult couple of years for local businesses and the awards recognize the work they’ve put in to keep going.

“Those that you feel from all of the categories, deserve the recognition from what they’ve gone through COVID and regular business downturns.  It’s a night to celebrate our businesses.”

Scribilo says tickets for the Business Awards banquet on February 8th will go on sale starting on January 6th.
