Saint John police say a convicted robber wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is back in custody.

Police say Dustin Sacobie was arrested at an apartment building on Sydney Street on Tuesday.

Sacobie, who had been residing at a community correctional centre, was accused of breaching the conditions of his statutory release.

He was serving a sentence of four years and nine months for aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault use of force, robbery, theft under $5,000, break and enter, failure to attend court, and failure to comply with a probation order.
