The My Service Canada Account has a new look and is simpler to navigate.

Over 5.6 million Canadians use the secure online portal to get services and information on Employment Insurance, the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Social Insurance Numbers and more.

Launched as a test version, the new-look MSCA dashboard gives users a more complete view of all their benefits, services and information on a single page when they log in to their accounts, rather than navigating through separate pages for each.

Clients can provide feedback which will be incorporated into future updates, with the official launch of the replacement dashboard set for this summer.

In a release, Minister of Citizens’ Services, Terry Beech, says “The latest updates to MSCA are a key step in creating a fully personalized digital experience that really meets the day-to-day needs of Canadians.”

According to internal data collected in 2020, over 40% of all calls to Service Canada call centres are for simple requests which could be completed online.
