The unseasonably warm weather the region has been getting has scored itself a win against road infrastructure in Ignace.
Town officials say the weather combined with recent rainfall have negatively impacted a section of Pine Street, where a large culvert was recently replaced.
A majority of the work had been completed but it had not yet been paved over nor had the ground had time to settle before or during the winter, and has created some unusable areas on the shoulders of the road.
Public Works have added some gravel to shore up one lane to ensure it will stay open until the ground settles and further repairs can be made.
Road users are asked to use caution and stay on the open section of the roadway.

- Large potholes have formed on the side of the roadway, however since these photos were taken Public Works have shored the area up with gravel (Listener Submitted Photo)
