A northeastern Ontario man is facing charges after the discovery of illegal cigarettes in Fort Frances.
Police stopped a vehicle Thursday night just before 11 p.m. on Second Street East initially for a traffic infraction.
During the stop, police found 200 unmarked smokes and an unspecific amount of cannabis.
The 51-year-old from Echo Bay faces charges under the Tobacco Tax Act, the Cannabis Control Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act when he failed to provide police with a record of insurance.
