Police have charged a man in relation to a stabbing in Dartmouth.
Officers responded to Lake City Motel on Lakecrest Drive Tuesday morning where they located a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, who was known to the victim, left the scene in a vehicle.
Shortly after, he crashed the vehicle at a nearby park and was transported to hospital as a precaution.
A 47-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
