An investigation into historic sexual assaults has resulted in five charges being brought upon a Fort Frances man.

OPP launched an investigation in August after receiving information about incidents that occurred in the Fort Frances area.

It led police to lay three counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference against the 46-year-old.

He has since been released from custody and will return to court in January.

Police are still looking to see if there were other victims.
