The Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union (NSNU) and the VON have reached a tentative agreement.
It’s for about 900 nurses working in the community care sector.
Talks began earlier in the fall on the new agreement, which the NSNU says reflects the determination of their bargaining team and the employer.
They say it will improve work-life issues and bring competitive wages and benefits.
The deal is expected to be ratified in the coming days.
