Police investigate shots fired at home in East Preston

Shots fired at a home in East Preston.

RCMP say it was December 9 on Hwy 7 near Upper Governor St.

A 67-year-old East Preston man heard gun shots outside around 8am.

He later found what looked like bullet holes in the outside of the home as well as unfired bullets and empty casings.

There were no injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the General Investigative Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section. At this time, officers do not believe the incident was random.
