According to a report from the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, St. Patrick High School received a threat on the morning of December 11, resulting in a precautionary hold and secure.
Due to the situation, students were dismissed early with buses and parents/guardians returning them home.
All community use of the school was also announced as cancelled for the day.
The school has been deemed safe and ready to be re-opened by the Thunder Bay Police and the school board.
This is the second threat received by the school in the past week.
