By Tara Clow Dec 10, 2023 | 9:53 AM

Tragedy in PEI, so close to the holiday season. A fourth person has died after a two-vehicle crash.

An 18-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, and a youth in the car were all killed, and a teen boy is being treated for serious injuries.

RCMP released an update on Monday.  A passenger in the pickup truck passed away as a result of his injuries.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested.  He was also hurt in the collision.

RCMP PEI says the crash happened on December 8th on St. Peter’s Road in Marshfield.

It’s believed a pick-up truck pulled out into the oncoming lane and struck a car head-on.

A man has been arrested for Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death and Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death.

RCMP Corporal Gavin Moore says this is the third collision in the last three days that has resulted in the arrest of an impaired driver.
