Deputy Education Minister says government monitoring for potential strike action

A letter to parents from the Deputy Education Minister.

It addresses concerns over reports of potential illegal labour action for CUPE groups.

Ryan Donaghy states, they are not aware of any particular action happening, but they monitoring the situation..

His letter says families will be notified if services are disrupted. This could include school closures or bus cancellations

Concerns have been raised by CUPE over a government bill that would force them into a new pension plan.
