Human remains have been found in the HRM.
They were discovered yesterday afternoon in a wooded area near the 2200 block of Purcells Cove Road.
Halifax Regional Police say the remains were determined to be human by the Medical Examiner’s office, but have not been identified.
The investigation is in its early stages.
They ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
